Chef's Warehouse at Tintswalo Atlantic
During one of our birthdays we decided to have dinner with friends at Chef's Warehouse at Tintswalo Atlantic. It was definitely a unique place to celebrate a birthday, so if you have something to celebrate this restaurant is the place to be.
The combination of the beautiful view, the refined shared dining concept and the warm, personal service makes this an absolute must. We are happy to share our experience about this restaurant.

Tip: the restaurant is often fully booked months in advance, but our waiter gave us a tip that there are often cancellations, and that you might be able to get a table if you call them at 10:00 in the morning.

Reservations: Due to its popularity and limited seating, early booking is a must (often booked out months in advance), especially if you want to enjoy the sunset. There are multiple locations of this restaurant, so be sure to check where you book.

Location: The restaurant is located in Tintswalo Atlantic Lodge, accessible via Chapman's Peak Drive. There is parking and a shuttle service from there to the restaurant.

Costs
Chef's Warehouse has a set menu, priced at R1,100 per person excluding drinks (approx €56 per person). This includes multiple courses that are shared at the table, which creates a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We combined our evening with a wine arrangement which comes to R1,800 per person (approximately €92 per person). We topped this off with oysters and a cocktail. The oysters were truly the best oysters we have ever eaten because of the garnish they put on top! The cocktails were fine, but we would probably skip these if we come back.
Yes, the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side if you include a wine arrangement, so we would therefore recommend this for a special occasion. Especially the view during sunset that you get for free will definitely stay with you and makes the night extra special! In Europe you might pay a lot more for the same quality - and without the view!
